One of the most celebrated music videos of all time, this was a very special project for me. Directed by Dayton & Faris (Little Miss Sunshine) and based on the first VFX film, Georges Méliès Trip to the Moon. I was the VFX Supervisor on set and did most of the effects work on the video including designing the look of the band performance shots and ensuring that the VFX elements blended well with the hand-cranked footage. I received the MTV Music Award for Best Visual Effects in 1996 for my work on this video.
